The AMX name originates from the "American Motors eXperimental" code used on a concept vehicle and then on two prototypes shown on the company's "Project IV" automobile show tour in 1966. One was a fiberglass two-seat "AMX", and the other was a four-seat "AMX II". Both of these radically styled offerings reflected the company's strategy to shed its "economy car" image and appeal to a more youthful, performance-oriented market.

This AMX is presented in the optional "Big Bad Blue" and also has the Big One, 390 cu in V-8 with Drag Pak. It is mated to a Shift-Command 3 speed automatic transmission that can also be shifted manually, as well as a Positraction rear differential. Options include an 8,000 rpm tach, power steering and heavy duty rear leaf springs. Recent refurbishing includes new brakes, rebuilt 4 bbl carburetor and a comprssion test indicating over 140 lbs in each cylinder.

The Jeep CJ-7 featured a wheelbase 10 inches longer than that of the CJ-5 and lacked its trademark rear curve of the door cutouts. The other main difference between CJ-5 and CJ-7 was to the chassis which consisted of two parallel longitudinal main c-section rails. To help improve vehicle handling and stability, the rear section of the chassis stepped out to allow the springs and shock absorbers to be mounted closer to the outside of the body. It was introduced in for the 1976 model year, with 379,299 were built during 11 years of production. From 1976 to 1980, the CJ-7 came equipped with a Dana 20 transfer case, Dana 30 front axle (27- or 31-spline), and a 29-spline AMC 20 rear axle.

This ultra rare Jeep CJ features removable soft doors and convertible top. It is powered by the 304 cu in V-8 with 3 speed manual transmission and has power steering and brakes. The body has been slightly lifted to accommodate the 31" tall tires.

The 1965 full-sized Pontiacs were completely restyled with more flowing sheetmetal featuring "Coke-bottle" profiles and fastback rooflines on two-door hardtops. Wheelbases increased to 121 inches on all models.

A new three-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission replaced the previous Roto Hydramatic unit on full-sized Pontiacs for 1965. The "Turbo" is a three-speed torque converter unit similar in basic design to Chrysler's Torqueflite and Ford's Cruise-O-Matic transmissions - a move that made torque converter automatics the universal design for shiftless transmissions, and relegated the original fluid-coupling Hydramatic to history. Though the "Turbo" transmission continued to use the Hydramatic name, it shared none of its design with the older transmission. The Turbo Hydramatic also adopted the standardized "P-R-N-D-S-L" shift pattern which replaced the "P-N-D-S-L-R" pattern long familiar to owners of Hydramatic-equipped Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles and Cadillacs.

The 389 cubic-inch V8s received a number of revisions including thinner wall block castings.

This Catalina convertible is presented nicely in Burgandy Metallic with new white convertible top and glass rear window. The interior features very nice original-type black upholstery, carpet and wood grain dash inserts. It is powered by the 389 cu in V-8 and Turbo Hydramatic 3 speed automatic transmission. Other features are power steering and brakes, bench seating, 15" ARE Torque Thrust II wheels and very nice underhood detailing

The Second Generation Thunderbird convertibles were similar in design to the Lincoln convertible of the time and borrowed from earlier Ford hardtop/convertible designs. While these Thunderbird models had a true convertible soft top, the top was lowered to stow in the forward trunk area. This design reduced available trunk space when the top was down.

The trunk lid was rear-hinged; raised and lowered via hydraulic cylinders during the top raising or lowering cycle. The forward end of the trunk lid contained a metal plate that extended upward to cover the area that the top is stowed in. With the top down and the trunk lid lowered, there is no sight of the soft top.

The overall appearance was a sleek look with no trace of a convertible top at all. No cover boot was needed.

This Thunderbird features a black power top, 352 Thunderbird Special V8 and Cruise-O-Matic transmission, power windows and seats, factory air conditioning, and Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels with new whitewall tires. Excellent detaining under the hood and interior, as well as the piant finish and brightwork.

Introduced in late 1908, Henry Ford’s Model T was by 1912, the most popular car in America. Always looking for ways to improve quality, and more importantly, improve quantity, his development of the moving assembly line for the automotive industry was genius. According to engine serial numbers a total of 94,662 Model T’s were produced during the 1912 model year. The Torpedo Runabout saw a total of 13,376 copies produced with prices running about $590, FOB Detroit. Simple mechanics, top quality materials and a real car at a low price helped Henry build an empire.
Proving that not all Model T’s were paint black, this Runabout has been restored in dark blue, which was the only color officially available for that model year. The engine has been restored and is reported to start rather easily, no more than two or three tugs on the hand-cranks at most. Helping the car to run right is an J&B Co. Master Vibrator Coil Magneto. This “T” for three is fitted with a pair of Ford script Gray & Davis gas headlights plus a pair of cowl lamps, all polished to deep reflective quality as is the brass radiator shell. The black diamond tufted leather seat is supple and inviting, while the black Colonial grain top material looks new and fits the bows just as it did when produced 100+ years ago. On the wood spoke wheels is a set of white rubber tires. The engine was apparently assembled in January 1912 and was most likely installed in a car within a few weeks. One of the most unique features of this car is the “Mother-In-Law” seat fitted to the deck behind the front passenger compartment.
With a reported top speed of 45 miles per hour, this Runabout would the perfect car for an historic tour, parades or to become involved your favorite vintage car collectors group. Having been stored in a climate controlled museum-like facility since its restoration has insured this Runabout is the perfect “T” for you.

The 1959 Chevrolet Impala was completely redesigned. Sharing bodyshells with lower-end Buicks and Oldsmobiles as well as with Pontiac, part of a GM economy move, the Chevrolet's wheelbase 1-1/2 inches longer. Using a new X-frame chassis, the roof line was three inches lower, bodies were two inches wider, and curb weight increased. Its tailfins protruded outward, rather than upward. The taillights were a large "teardrop" design at each side, and two slim-wide nonfunctional front air intake scoops were added just above the grille,

This Impala is very nicely presented in red, with period custom touches. It features a late-model Chevrolet 350 V-8 and 4 speed transmission. The custom tuck and roll interior is on factory-type bucket seats and center console. It also features a column-mounted Sun tachometer and Crager mag wheels.

The El Camino was based on an existing and modified platform, the new Brookwood two-door station wagon, itself based on the completely redesigned, longer, lower and wider full-sized Chevrolet. It came in a single trim level, its exterior using the mid-level Bel-Air's trim, and the interior of the low-end Biscayne. Its chassis featured Chevrolet's "Safety-Girder" X-frame design and a full-coil suspension. The somewhat soft passenger car suspension of the base model left the vehicle level without a load, in contrast the Ranchero, where standard 1100-pound rated heavy duty rear springs gave it a distinct rake when empty. The El Camino was promoted as the first Chevrolet pickup built with a steel bed floor instead of wood. The floor was a corrugated sheetmetal insert, secured with 26 recessed bolts. Concealed beneath it was the floor pan from the Brookwood two-door wagon, complete with foot wells.

This metallic Gold El Camino has been custom restored with a late model 350 V-8 crate and automatic transmission. The paint is very nice and the bed shows well. It is equipped with a Vintage Heat and A/C system and has power steering and brakes. The all vinyl interior matches the paint and custom chrome wheels have been added.

Chevrolet regained the sales lead at the end of 1936, but the Ford still sold extremely well. A new club cabriolet model was introduced with a fully framed windshield and weatherproof top, and the convertible sedan gained the popular integrated trunkback design.

The look was updated with an inverted pentagonal grille with all-vertical bars beneath a prominent hood and three horizontal chrome side strips (on DeLuxe models). A concealed horn, long a prominent part of the Ford's design, also brought the car into modern times. The new trucks continued with the old grille. Other major changes for 1936 were the use of pressed steel "artillery" solid wheels instead of wire wheels.

The level of detail on this Ford is incredible, right down to the hose clamps. The paint and body work is flawless and the pot metal bright work is nothing short of fabulous.

The first generation of the Ford Thunderbird is a two-seat convertible that was produced by Ford for the 1955 to 1957 model years. The Thunderbird was the first 2-seat Ford since 1938. The Corvette in turn was developed in response to the popularity of European sports cars among Americans.

This frame-off restored Thunderbird is an "E" code car with the 312 cu in Thunderbird Special V-8 with twin for barrel carburetors producing 245 hp. It is mated to the 3 speed manual transmission. This T-bird features both hardtop and folding soft top, genuine wire wheels and engine dress up kit. Dodge made a last-minute decision to drop the Lancer name in favor of Dart for Dodge's newly designed "senior compact", a marketing term referring to the wheelbase having grown to 111 in from the Lancer's 106.5 in. The longer wheelbase gave more rear seat legroom than the previous Lancer or the contemporaneous Valiant.

The Dart was an instant market success, with sales up sharply compared to those of the Lancer. The Dart remained extremely popular through the end of the Dart's production run in 1976. After the start of the 1964 model year, an all-new, compact, lightweight 273 cu in LA V8 producing 180 bhp with a 2-barrel carburetor was introduced as the top engine option.

This beautiful Dart convertible is stunning in red with white soft top. The body is exceptionally straight and the chrome trim is very tidy. The interior is basically stock. It is powered by a 273 cu in V-8 with Mopar dress up accessories, Edelbrock 4 barrell carburetor and intake manifold and is backed by a manual 4 speed transmission.

Though inspired by, and positioned directly against, the Corvette, Ford billed the Thunderbird as a personal luxury car, putting a greater emphasis on the car's comfort and convenience features rather than its inherent sportiness. With the Thunderbird considered a success, few changes were made to the car for 1956. The most notable change was moving the spare tire to a continental-style rear bumper in order to make more storage room in the trunk, and an optional porthole in the removable roof was offered and often selected by buyers. Among the few other changes were new paint colors, the addition of circular porthole windows as standard in the fiberglass roof to improve rearward visibility, and a 312 cu in Y-block V8 making 215 horsepower when mated to a 3-speed manual transmission.

This beautiful Thunderbird has been treated to a recent extensive ground up restoration with new Coral paint, Coker whitewall tires and Thunderbird wire wheel covers. The interior is all new with correct upholstery, door panels and carpeting. This car has the 312 Y block Thunderbird Special V-8 with 3 speed manual transmission and overdrive. It features the removable fiberglass hard top with porthole window and new white folding soft top, Town and Country radio and a rebuilt power steering system. Other refurbishing includes a new 4 row radiator, water pump replacement, generator, shock absorbers and fuel tank. The engine bay is nicely detailed with new polished aluminum valve covers and chrome air cleaner.

For 1950, Chevrolet came up with a revolutionary style that would set a pattern for decades. The Bel Air Hardtop was styled as a convertible with a non-detachable solid roof. Models like this had been around since the 1920s, including early Chevrolets, with no degree of success. But the newly revised idea, sweeping the GM line from Chevrolet to Cadillac, had finally found its era. First year production reached only 76,662 as buyers cautiously tested the revised concept.

In 1953 Chevrolet renamed its series and the Bel Air name was applied to the premium model range. Two lower series, the 150 and 210, also emerged (as successors to the Special and Deluxe series, respectively). The 1953 Chevrolet was advertised as "Entirely new through and through," due to the restyled body panels, front and rear ends. However, essentially these Chevrolets had similar frame and mechanicals to the 1949–1952 cars.

This Bel Air has been fully restored and is loaded with accessories. It has the Fulton sunvisor and traffic light prism, Wheel trim rings and fender skirts, bumper and grille guards, door handle ring guards and gas door guard. It has the famous Blue Flame six-cylinder engine with 3 speed manual transmission. The underhood detail is incredible.

The 1957 model year saw the Eldorado, now in both Biarritz convertible and Seville hardtop body styles, featuring a revised styling but the big news was the introduction of one of GM’s most memorable designs, the Series 70 Eldorado Brougham. Announced in December 1956 and released around March 1957, the Eldorado Brougham was a hand-built, limited car derived from the Park Avenue and Orleans show cars of 1953-54. Designed by Ed Glowacke, it featured the first appearance of quad headlights and totally unique trim. The chassis for the Brougham were build in Detroit, crated, and then shipped to Pinin Farina in Turn, Italy where they were fitted with their stunning bodies. This four-door hardtop with rear-hinged rear doors was an ultra-luxury car that cost an astonishing $13,074 – twice the price of any other 1957 Eldorado and more than the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud of the same year.

The Eldorado Brougham featured a stainless steel roof, self leveling air suspension, the first automatic two-position “memory” power seats, a dual four-barrel V-8, low-profile tires with thin whitewalls, automatic trunk opener, cruise control, high-pressure cooling system, polarized sun visors, electric antenna, automatic-release parking brake, electric door locks, dual heating system, silver magnetized glovebox, automatic starter with restart function, Autronic Eye, drum-type electric clock, power windows, forged aluminum wheels and air conditioning. Buyers of Broughams had a choice of 44 full-leather interior and trim combinations. The 1957 Eldorado Brougham joined the Sixty Special and the Series 75 as the only Cadillac models bodies with Fleetwood although Fleetwood script or crests did not appear anywhere on the exterior of the car, and so this would also mark the first time in 20 years that that a Fleetwood-bodied car was paired with the Brougham name. The 1957-58 Eldorado Brougham also marked the return of the Cadillac Series 70, if only briefly.

Only 400 Eldorado Broughams were built for 1957. This is a stunning restored example of one of the few survivors remaining. This true American icon is finished in Dusty Rose Metallic with Light Beige Sahara leather. There were no options as all of these cars were fully equipped. She is powered by a numbers matching 365 V-8 the produces 325 hp and it runs and drives great, being smooth, powerful, extremely collectible, and a true investment.

The 1959 Impala became a separate series, adding a four-door hardtop and four-door sedan, to the two-door Sport Coupe and convertible. Sport Coupes featured a shortened roof line and wrap-over back window, commonly referred to as a "Bubble Top". Standard were front and rear armrests, an electric clock, dual sliding sun visors, and crank-operated front vent windows. A contoured hooded instrument panel held deep-set gauges. A six-way power seat was a new option, as was "Speedminder", for the driver to set a needle at a specific speed and a buzzer would sound if the pre-set was exceeded.

This fully restored Impala features the newly-offered for 1959 4 speed manual transmission, mated to a 348 cu in "W" block V-8 with 3X2 barrel carburetors. It has power steering and brakes, deluxe bumper guards, twin mirrors and antennas and accessory spinner wheel covers.

The 1972 model shared much of the same exterior sheetmetal as the 1970, but with a new hood, grille, and headlight assemblies, as well as new bumpers and taillights.

The famous "Rocket" V8 continued in several different power options, with thesmall-block 350 available with either 2- or 4-barrel carburetors. In 1971, all engines came from the factory with hardened valve seats, preparing for the upcoming mandate for unleaded gasoline that took effect with the introduction of catalytic converters on 1975 models. The 1972 Olds engines also featured lowered compression ratios and designed to run on regular leaded, low-lead or unleaded gasoline with a research octane rating of 91 or higher (equivalent to 87 octane by today's octane measurements).

Thos Cutlass Supreme Holiday Coupe is presented in Matador Red with black vinyl top and bucket seat interior. It is powered by the famous Rocket 350 V-8 with 4 bbl carburetor, dual exhausts and Turbo Hydramatic transmission. Options include factory air conditioning. power steering and brakes, power windows, Super Stock II wheels and a period-correct 8-track tape player.

1996 was the final year of C4 production, and featured OBD II (On-Board Diagnostics), run flat tires, and the 300 hp LT4 engine. This engine featured reverse-flow cooling (the heads were cooled before the block), which allowed for a higher compression ratio of 10.5:1. Also new for was Acceleration Slip Regulation (ASR), a form of traction control which utilized the Corvette's brakes, spark retard, and throttle close-down to prevent excessive rear wheel spin and possible loss of control. The traction control device could be switched off if desired.

This final edition C4 Corvette is nicely presented in classic white with contrasting red leather interior. It is well-optioned with power rack and pinion steering, four wheel disc brakes, air conditioning, power windows and locks, tilt steering column and cruise control. The chassis and underhood area is clean and very well detailed.

In 1958, the Delray became a distinct series of its own, taking the place of the 150. The Delray was Chevrolet's price-leading, no-frills model, with the more expensive models being the Biscayne, Bel Air and Impala (the last being a sub-model of the Bel Air for 1958). It now had GM's X-frame It came in a utility coupe, a two-door coupe, a four-door sedan. The Delray's 1958 only four-door or two-door station wagon counterpart was the Chevrolet Yeoman.

Befitting its bottom-end status, the Delray had minimal interior and exterior trim and limited options. As such, this model was popular with fleet buyers such as police departments and businesses. However, private customers could also buy a Delray if low price, economy and basic all-around transportation with the convenience of a full-size automobile were the primary goals.

This Delray has been custom restored with buckets seats, console and 4 speed transmission. The interior has been upgraded to leather and has custom door panels, headliner and rear compartment panels

The American Ford line of cars gained a new body for 1955 to keep up with surging Chevrolet, although it remained similar to the 1952 Ford underneath. The Mileage Maker I-6 was bumped up to 223 CID for 120 hp and the new-for-1954 Y-block V8 was now offered in two sizes: Standard Fords used a 272 CID version with 162 hp with 2-barrel carburetor and single exhaust or 182 hp with 4-barrel carburetor and dual exhaust.

Apart from the engine changes, customers were sure to notice the new Fairlane, which replaced the Crestline as the top trim level, while a new Crown Victoria-style featured a chrome "basket handle" across the familiar (and continued) "Victoria" hardtop roof, which originally appeared on the Mercury XM-800 concept car. The company now marketed three different rooflines on its two-door models; the tall two-pillar Mainline, Customline, and Fairlane sedans, pillarless hardtop Fairlane Victoria and the chrome-pillar Fairlane Crown Victoria. The Fairlane Crown Victoria was also offered with a transparent "skylighted" top.

This Crown Victoria has been fully restored and features a very popular 2 tone rose pink and white combination with matching interior. This car is equipped with the overhead valve Y-block engine and Ford-o-Matic automatic transmission. Options include Continental sparetTire kit and genuine wire wheels. The original wire wheel covers are included.

The 1969 model Firebird received a major facelift with a new front end design but unlike its big brother the GTO, it did not have the Endura bumper. The instrument panel and steering wheel were revised. The ignition switch was moved from the dashboard to the steering column with the introduction of GM's new locking ignition switch/steering wheel.

This original restored Firebird is finished in laser straight Carousal Red (Hugger Orange) and retains it's original numbers matching 350 V-8 and 4 speed manual transmission. The factory build sheet documents the options. It has power steering, power disc brakes, power driver's side seat, power convertible top and Rally II Wheels.
