With the great styling of the current Porsche line-up, exceptional handling and performance abilities for the price, this Cayman is hands down an awesome sports car.

The Cayman's are known for being cars that handle extremely well, yet don't possess a harsh ride. This car is just as happy around town, as it is clipping apexes at the track. This Cayman's curvy shape is finished in the classic Porsche color of Guards Red over black leather interior - the car looks fast even while sitting still. As you would expect from a Porsche, the interior of the Cayman is nicely finished and comfortable. A 275 horsepower Flat-6 mated to a 6-speed manual transmission is mid-mounted in this car, leaving "trunk" areas at both the front and rear of the car.

This Cayman is a very nice example of a very lightly used, low mileage car. This is an awesome performance coupe that is fast, fun, and practical.

Also available was a 4 wheel steering system, helping the GT-R utilize all of it’s available grip. With a plethora of aftermarket parts and tuning it’s possible to push 1000hp from the GT-R.

The name reflecting a "Series 90" fitted with an eight-cylinder engine first appeared in 1941 and was used again after American consumer automobile production resumed post-World War II.For 1959, the Oldsmobile lineup was completely redesigned. However, unlike other GM makes, Oldsmobile continued to use a full perimeter frame, instead of the GM X-frame.The 98 shared its appearance with theOldsmobile 88. Oldsmobile stayed with its top series format by offering four body styles on an exclusive 126.3-inch wheelbase. Standard equipment included oil filter, turn signals, air scoop brakes, Safety Spectrum speedometer, rocker panel moldings, special emblems, parking brake light, sponge vinyl headliner, deep twist carpeting, electric clock, wheel trim moldings, power steering, power brakes and JetawayHydramaticDrive. Interiors were selected from leather, Moroccean or cloth in different colors. The 394CID, the largest first generationRocketV-8, was used from 1959 until 1964.The 98 shared its General MotorsC-bodyplatform withBuickandCadillac. As it was the top-line Oldsmobile, the series had the most technologically advanced items available, such as theHydramaticautomatic transmission, theAutronic Eye, an automatic headlight dimmer andTwilight Sentinel(a feature that automatically turned the headlights on and off via a timer, as controlled by the driver), and the highest-grade interior and exterior trim.In 1959, Oldsmobile models were completely redesigned with a rocket motif from front to rear, as the top of the front fenders had a chrome rocket, while the body-length fins were shaped as rocket exhausts which culminated in a fin-top taillight. The 1959 models also offered several roof treatments, such as the pillared sedan with a fastback rear window and the Holiday Sport Sedan, which was a flat-roofed pillarless hardtop with wraparound front and rear glass. The 1959 models were marketed as "the linear look" and featured a bar-graph speedometer which showed a green indicator through 35 miles per hour, then changed to orange until 65 miles per hour, then was red above that until the highest speed read by the speedometer, 120 miles per hour. The Vette was every school boys dream in the day being the ultimate "Macho Man" car, complete with the L82 power plant! This particular example, like all 54 through 81 Vettes, was made in GMs St. Louis, Missouri assembly plant. It has since been enhanced with an Eckler turbo-designed body package with International Motor Sport Association (IMSA) body flares and NACA ducts in front and a louvered backlight. The paint and trim are in overall excellent condition, as are the glass panels, including the rear window with electric defroster. There are some spider cracks in the paint upon very close inspection but overall very hard to detect. The cars lights are very good order with the factory, round pop-up headlights replaced by recessed quad rectangular units covered by transparent plexiglass. This Vette rolls on BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires, size P255/60R15 in front and P275/60R15 in back and each radial surrounds a Tru-Spoke wire wheel with center spinners. The tires and wheels are in very good condition. The cars bodywork is straight and solid; including the silver reflective glass T-tops. Ralph Eckler began as a one-man body shop in Rock Island, Illinois in 1961. Eleven years later, he published his first catalog, offering fiberglass and other Corvette body parts. Completing the interior is a factory AM/FM stereo with cassette deck. This vehicle was featured in a 1983 issue of Custom Rodder magazine.Nineteen seventy-eight was the Corvette's 25th Anniversary and all 78s featured silver anniversary nose and fuel door emblems. A newfastbackrear window was the most dramatic and noticeable styling change, giving the 10-year-old C3 Corvettebody stylea fresh lease on life. The fixed-glass fastback benefited both rodynamics and increased the usable luggage space behind the seats while improving rearward visibility in the bargain. The tachometer and speedometer were redesigned to match the new aircraft styled center console and gauge cluster first seen the previous year. Redesigned interior door panels were also new as well as an actual glove box was added in front of the passenger seat, replacing the map pockets of previous years.Available options now included power door locks, a power antenna, dual rear speakers and a CB radio. The optional convenience group, introduced the previous year, now included intermittent (delay) wipers, floor mats, and the passenger side vanity mirror was an upgraded illuminated unit. The more desirable L82 engines were also now fitted with an aluminum intake manifold, which saved 24pounds compared to the cast iron unit of previous years. The Corvette converted to metric tires with the P225/70R15 as standard. Wider P255/60R15 tires were available as an option and required fender trimming from the factory for clearance. The fuel tank capacity increased from 17 to 24 gallons on all cars. To make room for the larger tank, a smaller (P195/80D15) space saverspare tirewas utilized.Competition to this Corvette in 1978 included the Avanti II, Datsuns 280Z, Jaguars XJ-S, Mazdas RX-7, Mercedes-Benzs 450SL and Porsches 911.This car is currently located at our facility in St. Louis, Missouri. Read more

Originally built for Car & Driver's One Lap of America in 2003 and featured in the January 2011 Corvette magazine, this nearly 600 hp street-legal C5 coupe now competes in hillclimbs throughout the Northwest. The 427ci aluminum block has been fitted w/Dart heads and has just been totally rebuilt by Shaver Racing Engines in Torrance, CA. The car will be delivered to its new owner w/a 0 hours engine w/dyno time only. A full build sheet along with dyno results is available.

Besides a fresh, full-race motor, attention has been paid to the Vette's suspension and bodywork resulting in a complete, balanced package. The chassis is by Mallet Cars and has been "tubbed", allowing for wider wheels and tires. It has a hood and rear wing made from carbon fiber and the suspension includes Penske dampers, P1 anti roll bars and heavy-duty Baer brakes. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a special close-ratio 6 speed gearbox with a heavy duty twin plate clutch. There are both diff and trans coolers along with two sets of wheels.

The car currently competes in events organized by the Northwest Hillclimb Association and took an overall victory in 2009's Bogus Basin Hillclimb in Idaho w/Bill Cooper at the controls. Cooper is the long-time former chief instructor of Bob Bondurant's school and is offering a complimentary day's coaching at the track of the winning bidder's choosing [track rental fee not included].
