The car is powered by a completely rebuilt and fortified M3 power plant. The engine build was performed by Active Autowerke in Florida in 2010 and features a bottom end rebuild by AA with forged CP Pistons. The car id fed by an Active Autowerke Supercharger Fen 6 Level 2 with Meth Injection with stainless steel AA headers and exhaust. When built and tuned, the car Dyno’d at 520 WHP and estimated at 634 HP at the crank. Power is transferred through its SMG transmission and applied by the rear wheels. Other mechanical highlights include: Stoptech BBK brakes, Dinan stage 2 coilover suspension with sway bars, sub frame reinforcement plates, HPF Feramic clutch, powder coated wheels; newer SMG pump, alternator, battery and rear tires, an updated tune by Active Autowerke and German Auto Service, etc. The car also featrues Tripple PLX gauges, several miscellaneous trim upgrades around the car, Escort Passport 9500 radar detector and laser jammer professionally installed, Schroth quick-fit harness system using factory mounting points, and much more. The car remains in great cosmetic condition throughout and comes attractively dressed in Mystic Blue metallic exterior paint over cinnamon leather upholstery, blue convertible top and blue hardtop.
The E46 M3 is already a legend in the European performance community; that coupled with performance icons: Dinan performance and Active Autowerke, this car is a force to be reckoned with.
Documentation includes a large file documenting the build and upgrades, dyno sheets, boxes of spare parts and receipts, etc. The car has been driven approximately 1000 miles since completion and a performance bargain at the price offered here.
