This highly original Vanagon L camper was built in June of 1982 and spent most of its life in the south with a short stint in Michigan. The bus was recently taken from a nice driver to being reconditioned with many new parts, accessories and mechanical work. The engine received a brand new rebuild by a professional mechanic and over $5000 was spent on the rebuild. New camper top was also added. New rear bumper, door panels, wheels with chrome hubcaps, and lights were replaced. This great bus in in great shape and comes with the deluxe upgrade option from the factory which gave you full close closets, dual propane burners, sink, fridge, rear table with swinging arm, storage under lower bed, three point seatbelts in front and rear lap belts, intermittent wipers, speedo with reset trip, vanity mirror, lockable glovebox, storage on driver door, and analog clock. Vehicle is also equipped with the dual sliding side windows, rear defrost, rear A/C and the cool Van Dyck interior. This bus runs and drives great, all lights are working and it fires right up with a simple turn of the key. Service records, extra parts, and original owner’s manual comes with this purchase.
