GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6 Convertible for purchase. GM felt forced to start their F-body platform when the sales of the Ford Mustang were surprisingly off the charts. The Pontiac Firebird, alongside the Chevy Camaro, was born in 1967 and ran to 2002. Pontiac was the “excitement” division for GM and the Trans Am added even more of such to the Firebird. The Trans Am was a specialty package for the Firebird typically upgrading handling, suspension, and horsepower as well as appearance modifications such as hoods, spoilers, fog lights, and wheels. Trans Am is a trademark so GM actually paid $5 a car to the SCCA. These muscle cars spanned generations, but always kept up the thrill of driving. This consistency led them to be features in popular culture all over the place including Smokey and the Bandit, Knight Rider, and more.
This is a 2002 Firebird Trans Am WS6 in stunning showroom condition with exceptional low miles (under 4,000)! It was delivered new to Wasau, Wisconsin and spent its days as part of a collection with only 600 miles driven before the next owner. The Carfax shows a clean history as this is a great stock example of the last year Trans Am’s. This car is powered by the 5.7L V8 engine and automatic transmission. It also features leather seats, power convertible top, air conditioning, Ram Air hood, power seats, Monsoon stereo system, power 4-wheel disc brakes, dual exhaust, and much more! This car is as nice as you can find out there! Please call or email for more details!
