GM’s Lansing, Michigan plant may have given this Cutlass its shape but a frame off restoration brought the Nordic Blue paint and W-30 visuals. From the fiberglass Force-Air hood to the white side stripes, everything is here and showing well. The paint presents well from all angles and the body work beneath is straight and true. When the inclement weather sets in, a taut white top comes to the rescue, adding both protection from the elements and a great tie-in to the white W-30 accents. Lift the dual scoop hood to find a 455ci V8. Under the Oldsmobile-branded Force-Air system, a single Quadrajet carburetor bolts to a Winters intake manifold. At either side, “G” heads with big valves are covered by nicely finished blue valve covers. The front of the engine spins items like a factory-fresh air conditioning compressor, power steering pump, and an alternator to keep things charged. Underneath the car, a Muncie 4-speed offers full control of the monster V8. Around the drivetrain, the front end is supported by direct-action coil springs while the rear features a factory 4-bar aided by Air Lift helper airbags. When the road ahead gets curvy, factory power steering combines with power-assisted brakes for a confidence-inspiring driving experience. Those brakes clamp down on front discs and rear drums that tuck neatly behind color-keyed Super Sport II wheels wrapped in 225/70/14 Goodyear rubber. Between the doors, a white bucket seat interior offers factory A/C, power windows, a power top, and more! Call, click, or visit http://rkmotorscharlotte.com for more information.or
