The Mercury Marauder returned for the first time in 33 years and hit the market as a 2003 model year. For the first time, Mercury had two full size vehicles in their lineup at the same time since 1974. Marketed as a full-size “muscle car” that was similar to their 90's era Impala SS, this vehicle was given the 4.6L V8 which put out over 300 hp from the factory and was mated to a 4-speed automatic. Now with a naturally aspirated dual-cam system, the power was prevalent as soon as you stepped on the gas but with all the comfort and stability you come to expect from a full-size sedan making this a real thrill to drive without the worries of loss of control.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this all-original and well-kept example of the 2004 Mercury Marauder for your consideration. Featuring its powerful V8, well-tuned stability and many creature comforts within, this is a shining example that not only looks rather new but only has right around 84,000 miles! From the outside the vehicle is very original with its Dark Toreador Red paint and stock brushed aluminum wheels it has the appearance of any other slow car on the road. Under the hood is a different story. This naturally aspirated twin-cam V8 gives you a large amount of power that is ready and willing to jump a gear and get you down the road quickly! Within the cabin of this sleeper is a pristine leather seating, keyless entry and exterior entry pad, the power heated front seats, power windows, power locks, power sunroof and even power mirrors all add to the comfort, the aftermarket radio is working and ready to play your favorite tunes, automatic temperature control keeps the cabin at your selected degree and overall the interior is very well held together. This Merc is exceptionally clean inside and out showing very few flaws throughout, please call or email us today for a closer look at this could-be-a-future classic!
