Jeep and its strong history of manufacturing rugged and ready off road vehicles will never lose its place in the automotive world. Produced in the 40's and production continues today, one thing staying true is that the Jeep brand has always offered a “Willys/CJ/Wrangler/” all with the same style and function of a fun sporty vehicle for the trails, farm, beach or cruiser.
This recently restored 1976 AMC CJ-7 Renegade Levi's edition Jeep is just plain beautiful. It is all original steel and is finished in hugger blue. It has a black hard top and a brand new Best Top soft top in Levi's blue. It features a healthy 304 v8 with working air conditioning. It is connected to a turbo 400 automatic transmission. It also features power steering, front power disc brakes, full size rear mounted brand new spare, chrome front and rear bumpers, center counsel, headers, new front and rear shocks, new dual exhaust with flow-master mufflers, painless wiring harness, painted chassis, new polyethylene bushings, dynamically balanced brand new front and rear driveshafts, like new 32x11.50x15 Pro Comp tires, aluminum Mickey Thompson wheels, Best Top seats and much more. There was also a wireless Bluetooth iPod /iPhone hookup sound system. Obviously this thing is mouth watering and is sure to please.
It is a striking vehicle in person and one that demands a closer look for anyone considering a vintage CJ7. These trusty and fun vehicles will continue to rise and the chances of finding one that has not been eaten by the rust monster is next to impossible. Always remember, it is much easier to buy one done then to try to recreate one with a bad start!
