Audi used to play on a smaller playing field than the likes of Mercedes and BMW, but the 1991 introduction of the B4 series Audi 80/90 was a major turning point for the brand. The new Audi 80 offered modern styling, technology and improved roadholding over the usual VW products they were based on. While not badged as the 80/90 series, the convertible versions shared the same chassis and the upmarket engines and transmissions.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this very solid 1995 Audi Convertible for your consideration. Featuring Audi’s well regarded 2.8L V6 engine mated to a stout four speed automatic transmission and FWD, these cars were quite sporty. The engine pumps out around 175hp and the car is light and maneuverable. Well equipped, the car has power windows, power top, power locks, air conditioning, stereo cassette, ABS, leather seats and more. The air blows cold and the stereo sounds good. There are no warning lights on the dash and the car has done just 119k miles. The interior is in pretty good shape with a good dash and trim that is fully functional. The leather seats are comfortable and have good padding but have some wear that is typical for the age and use. The exterior also shows pretty well and has good paint quality overall. Factory 15in alloy wheels are fitted.
The car was traded a few years back for a nice piano and the car originally came out of Oregon. A classy and comfortable cruiser. These Audi’s are becoming harder to find.
